KOGI-GUBER: PRESIDENT BUHARI RECEIVES KOGI APC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE ODOO AHMED USMAN

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the APC candidate for Kogi 2023 Gubernatorial election, Ododo Ahmed Usman, in his office at the presidential villa, Abuja.

The meeting, which was held on Friday, saw the candidate being accompanied by the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.

During the meeting, President Buhari warmly received Ododo and congratulated him on his victory at the Kogi State APC Governorship Primary Election. The President also wished him success at the general election, which is slated to hold in November 2023.

It would be recalled that on April 14, 2023, the Kogi State APC Primary Election Committee had announced Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the winner of the Kogi APC Governorship Primary Election, 

This meeting has also been seen as a show of solidarity between the APC party leaders and a move towards a more united front for the upcoming elections.
