Politically Motivated : KSU Degree Certificate to Expire If Not Collected On or Before 31st January 2022,

Graduates of Kogi State University (KSU) have been advised to process the collection of their certificates before the expiration of the validity date given. This is preposterous.

 In fact it is tyrannical to think KSU graduates spread across length and breath of Nigeria and overseas can process this certificate within the time frame given by the University authority. This is inhumane and abuse of the rights of  owners of the document. 

There was no attempt by university to consult avalanches of old students bodies, no text messages or phone call , email or editorial on any discerning national dailies or electronic media intimating everyone on the plan of action to prepare them ahead . The next thing is demonic ultimatum, politically motivated to deprive some persons of their hard earned certificates. This is unfortunate. 

One thing stands clear, collection of original certificate should be at the discretion of the owner not by coercion or force for any clandestine ignominious reason. 

A statement signed on Friday by the Registrar, Alhaji Nuhu A. Ahmed said the validity of all statements of results issued by the institution would expire by the 31st January, 2022.

The statement reads;

“Kogi University, Anyigba, wishes to remind all graduands that the validity of all statements of result issued by the institution will expire by 31st January, 2022.

“Graduands who are still using the University’s Statement of results are therefore advised to process their original digital certificates before the expiration of the validity period.
