Defence: 90% of Missiles Sent to Isreal Knocked Out By Streaks of Light in The Sky

More than 3,000 rockets have been fired towards Israel by Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups in Gaza in the past week.
In these images, streaks of light are seen in the sky as Israel's Iron Dome missile defence system intercepts rockets – Israel's military says the system has knocked out 90% of those that have crossed into its territory.

The Iron Dome uses radar to identify and destroy incoming threats before they can cause damage.

Ten people have been reported killed in Israel as a result of the rocket-fire.

Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry says 200 people have been killed there in Israeli strikes.
