A New Wave of, And God's Own Political Party About to Emerge in Nigeria

A new wave of political party is about to emerge in Nigeria. It s called God's own party in principle but with a different unique name in  practical sense .

Like the  #ENDSARS movement , the new political party is an issue -based dynamic youth gathering aiming at defacing the current  political parties structures built around regional strongmen that use the parties to pursue personalistic politics based on patronage rewards. The emerging party will not hesitatae to make politics attractive for  subnational positions where  elections will interestingly be competitive and state politics constitute a platform for opposition parties to endure losing national elections.

 

Political parties are essential institutions of democracy. The new party will   offer citizens a choice in governance, and while in opposition they can hold governments accountable. It is going to be the party of youth volunteering their time, donate money and vote for their leaders,  exercising their basic democratic rights. 

My eyes is closed, my eyes is also open i see the emerging party fostering  participation of citizens in the  political party , offering unique benefits, including opportunities to influence policy choices, choose and engage political leaders, and run for office. This will be a sharp contrast to the moribund current structures where  political parties do not respect the rights of citizens to participate and are not accountable to voters. 

A new Nigeria is about to be born through a new political party tremendously in support of  the development of vibrant, accountable and inclusive multiparty systems which offer citizens meaningful choices and opportunities for political participation. Such rebirth will foster  knowledge and resource sharing, and aims to expand the participation of marginalized groups including: women, youth, ethnic and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, and gender and sexual minorities.

God is still in the business of making Nigeria great again. He is not a man that lie.He has not said good bye.
