School News: CESVO Hails San.(Dr.) Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu Provost, College of Health Sciences & Technology Idah over Unmatchable Achievement



The Provost College of Health Sciences and Technology Idah, San. (Dr.) Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu, and other principal officers of the institution were recently commended by the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO) for their exemplary leadership. The college chieftains were applauded and celebrated after a thorough investigation were carried out to assess the College value system.

The Centre for ethics and self-value orientation is a Kogi state-based international Independent anti-corruption NGO. It is a non-state actor that exposes corruption, provides ethical education, whilst promoting ethical leadership and engaging in self-value orientation of global citizens.



The Executive Director,  in a letter of commendations on the policy/project performance appraisals at the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, Prince Musa Yakubu said, “we at CESVO are secret investigators with massive professionally trained whistle blowers structured across the 774 LGAs in the country which serves as our informants to be able to determine who does what , where, how and when.”



“Sequel to the recommendations of the whistle-blow unit (WBU) of the centre after an independent secret assessment exercise was carried out on the college and management without your comment to avoid influence on our reportage between the 2nd-15th July, 2019 and the subsequent physical on-a spot assessment exercise conducted on 15th October 2020 ,” 

“ We are extremely overwhelmed by the quantum and quality of projects being executed within the life span of your administration. We have done our independent under cover due diligence on your leadership capacity and have seen dearly indicators of your genuine intent to lead without fear or favour and in accordance with SERVICOM CHARTER and in the full compliance with the Public Procurement Laws of Kogi State” :  Prince Yakubu observed.

In his response to the uncommon acknowledgements to the College of Health Sciences and Technology and its principal officers, the Provost, San (Dr.) Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu expressed his delight and promised that his administration will continue to uphold ethical standard to ensure transparency and accountability.

“ Special appreciations to His Excellency , our Health and Education friendly GOVERNOR, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, His Deputy Chief Edward David Onoja, CIK, our super mummy , the digital SSG , her visits and encouragement was superb, Chief of Staff to the governor, Pharm Asuku, for the monumental infrastructural transformation in the College, the super intelligent Hon. Commissioner for Health,Dr Saka Haruna Audu and his team for the wonderful contributions to the success story of the College, my amiable , dynamic and result oriented leader of the Governing Council ,DR ABDULRAHIM YUSUF and members who really made the difference and all the management team members and staff , they were wonderful. They have been wonderful. Reasons behind our success story for the past four years”. He added
