Police Voting in An Election in Kogi State : A Taboo, The God of Democracy will Punish those Bankrolling The Unwholesome Act

EDITORIAL : The Nigeria Police needs total overhauling to revamp the security of the Nation to world class standard. It is only in this country Nigeria police is used to vote in an election.

 A police man was found voting during one of the elections in Nigeria. Ordinarily, the officer at the polling boot with ballot forcing it into the box cannot carry out such nefarious act without a command from  a political officer desperate for power. 

The police can descend so low to do anything for money. Nigerian youth refused to be relegated to their level of impoverishment. Because the law enforcement agency have sold the integrity of this country for a pot of porridge. 

It is in the light of this , we at koginfo join forces with Nigerian youth to call for a reform in Nigeria Police systemic disequilibrium in the discharge of their legal duties.

 The welfare of Nigeria police needs to be revisited, the ramshackle and moribund barracks across the country should be renewed for all rank and file officers to return to barrack and shun taking solace among civilian. 

A newly recruited policeman should not be allowed to marry until at least, after three years of active service.  Afterwards  a welfare package for car, housing allowance  be dolled out for them to be committed to service, the absence of this is the reason many are looking for short cut to make it in life before retirement age.

 There is, as a matter of urgent need to install CCTV state -of- the art facilities in strategic locations with men of SWAT to tackle on the spot chaos, robbery, kidnapping and return to base instantly rather than loitering around , patroling manually , eating in "mama put" womanising and drinking liquor abandoning their lawful duties. A stitch in time saves nine !
