COVID-19: Two States in Nigeria Without Corona Virus


Kogi  and Cross Rivers are the two states not infected by COVID-19. This has generated a heated debate whether the rare feat attained by the two states is a function of the ingenuity of the Governors to contain the disease. Or rather it is a game of luck. Because the pandemic has forced countries across the globe to stay at home. Besides, there are over 3.2 million cases with 230, 000 deaths

Nigeria is not left of out. We have experienced an unprecedented rise in the number of people infected. The first case was recorded on 27th February, 2020. At the moment , there are over 1728 confirmed cases and at least 51 deaths. The country is gradually waking up from total lockdown. However there two out of 36 states of the federation recorded no case. This calls for greater attention
