COVID-19 LOCKDOWN: OVERCOME PANDEMIC AND LEARNING CRISIS, STUDENTS IN EXAMINATION CLASSES , JSS3, SS3 BY HOME STUDY - Principal UIS speaks
The decision of The Principal UIS to sensitize students in particularly in Kogi State and by extension Nigeria is predicated on avalanches of suggestions about how to deal with boredom during a lockdown. Exactly what may not advance students far in academic activities to perform better and be competent to speak or write in any examination's situations.
1. Sleep, Again; it's healthy
2. Try out a new hairstyle or experiment with your hair.
3. Join the #DontRushChallenge, yea...try it.
4. Discover New Music.
5. Learn yoga (check out YouTube for tutorials).
6. Look through old photos and videos...delete some to free space.
7. Meditate.
8. Take a long shower (if you have not been pumping the water on Generator).
9. Drink tea, and drink tea again.
10. Start a blog.
11. Get on a video call with relatives.
12. Rearrange your furniture or redecorate your living space.
13. Make an effort to learn something new.
14. Try learning a new language.
15. Get a paid Online course...that $9 or $12 will ensure you don't flunk it.
16. Stage a photo shoot at home.
17. Chill outside with your neighbours.
18. Make a homemade Facemask. Try all these activities (twice each) before going on IG Live for no reason.
However, Mr Oni- Peters, Principal UIS admonished students not relax too much or be busy doing nothing. Rather everyone should be determined not only to defeat the scourge of COVID-19 lockdown, boredom but also overcome the learning crisis caused by this pandemic.

In the face of COVID-19 lockdown, may I encourage our Junior Secondary School three (JSS3) and Senior Secondary School three (SS3) to conquer learning crisis cased by this pandemic. This is achieved by studying seriously at home": The Principal Said
