NBTE ACCREDITATION : KOGI STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY GETS APPROVAL TO JAMB STANDARD AFTER 43 YEARS

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted an interim accreditation for two programmes to College of Health Sciences and Technology Idah with effect from 1st Oct. 2019.
In a statement made available to the press by the Provost, Dr Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu, said the college has received the letter for the interim accreditation from the Registrar, National Board For Technical Education on Friday.
Anyegwu said the programmes are National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology and ND in Health Information Management.
The accreditation followed the resources inspection carried out by the NBTE team in December 2019. With this, ND students of the accredited programmes in the institution will now partake in jamb regularisation process.
The Provost of the College Comr. Dr Nuhu Anyegwu described the new accreditation and the inclusion of ND programmes of the institution into the Jamb Brochure as another laudable feat by the College in recent times.
In his word, the Provost on behalf of the Governing Council and Management expressed his appreciation to the visitor, Governor Yahaya Bello, for his contributions and special attention to the college and appealed to authorities concerned to implement the Full CONHESS salary structure approved for the college by His Excellency as it is obtainable in other NBTE accredited Colleges
