The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress Hon. Yakubu Murtala Ajaka Ajaka has donated a huge sum of forty million nairas (40,000,000) to flood-affected communities in Kogi state.
Hon. Murtala in his usual kind gesture expressed concern and show of care for Kogi citizens facing this menace. He once again urges all well-to-do personalities to come to the aid of Kogi people going through difficulties that the challenges are enormous for a single individual to handle. He also calls on those who have factories, and companies in Kogi to put up efforts to support the affected communities.

The disbursement of these funds commenced immediately as Ibaji has confirmed the ten million nairas (10,000,000) allocated from the funds as Idah LG receives five million nairas (N5,000,000).
Kotonkerfi will get ten million nairas (10,000,000) while Igalamela LG received five million nairas (5,000,000) and Bassa LG will get ten million nairas (10,000,000).

Measures are being put in place to check the disbursement of these funds to reach the real people as the money is not for political goodwill that can be diverted as it is often the practice which must be utterly condemned in the strongest terms.
