Hilary Amodu: Touching Lives of Patients at Idah General Hospital, Humanity First" (Photos)

Medical debt has inevitably grown at a faster clip during the past year as Nigerian faces a never -before - seen economic and labour crisis. However, Amodu Hillary has been touching lives through humanitarian activities towards indigent patients who are unable to pay their medical bills in government hospitals, especially Idah General Hospital in Kogi State 

 Igala nation is blessed with people of revered personalities in Kogi state, Nigeria and the entire world. Amodu Hillary, is an illustrious son of Igalaland. Many would know his name while others know him for what he does. He is the CEO and organizer of Who is Whom in Igala land. He uses this medium to promote Igala culture. And on a personal volition, he volunteered himself to give priority to charitable work first by  attending to the essential needs of the vulnerable ones in the society. 

In retrospect,  on 30th January, 1996, in consonance with, and after the then Italo festival, the young, ebullient and intelligent brother, Mr Hilary Amodu picked up the challenge of compilation of a compendium tagged ‘WHO’S WHO IN IGALALAND’.

This lofty initiative Who’s Who twenty five years ago has birthed  the following auxiliaries: Igala Carnival, Igala Merit Award, Igala Women of Substance Merit Award, while who’s who foundation is on its way.
